• Where equine research and rehabilitation Align

Equine therapy and rehabilitation services offered across North West England

  • A woman explains how to attach surface electromyography sensors to a horse. The horse has a rider and is wearing a stitched ear bonnet.

Led by an expert in Equine Biomechancs and Rehabiliation

Dr. Lindsay St. George (PhD, MSc Vet Physio and Clinical Rehab, MSc, RAnimSci.)

Fully qualified and insured veterinary physiotherapist

  • A person applies surface electromyography sensors to a grey horse's neck.

Unique integration of state-of-the-art technology informs practice

A data-driven approach to equine veterinary physiotherapy and rehabilitation

  • A person riding a horse over show jump in an indoor arena. The horse has markers on anatomical landmarks and optical motion capture cameras are in the foreground.

    Committed to conducting high-quality research

That informs practice and contributes to the growing evidence base for veterinary physiotherapy

  • A woman conducts a dynamic mobilisation exercise with a grey horse outside a stable.

Science as a foundation for equine physiotherapy

An approach that is informed by scientific evidence and objective data.

  • A woman assesses equine gait from a white horse being led by another woman down a path. The horse is wearing IMU sensors.

Removing guesswork with objective gait analysis

Scientifically validated systems ensure accurate and reliable assessment of equine gait.

  • Bridging academia and industry

Research and consultancy services that are backed by over 10 years of experience

  • A horse and rider in the foreground with the horse wearing surface electromyography sensors on it's hindlimb. A woman by a computer talks to the rider.

Equine services that are backed by the latest scientific evidence

Led by an academic who stays up-to-date with the latest research, so that you don’t have to!
